We Made It!

For those of you who don't already know, Lance and I recently relocated to Salt Lake City! We decided it was time for us to live in a new place on our own and with the epic snowboarding and the close proximity to Ore.,  Salt lake City was our obvious choice.

I was able to transfer with the accounting firm I have been with for the past two years and Lance will be working in Park City as a snowboard instructor. Also, our dear friend Dan Holewa will be joining us on our adventure too and working with Lance in Park City as well.

We left home at noon (later than anticipated) on Sunday Oct. 3rd. We stopped in the Dalles to say goodbye to our dear friends, the Addesa's too. We stayed Sunday night in Burley, ID and arrived in SLC Monday afternoon. After a 13 hour drive with 16 foot moving truck we finally arrived!

We are currently looking for a place to live and have seen a bunch of dumps! It has been a little discouraging, however we finally think we have found our place and we put an application on it last night. It is in an excellent location, the coveted area of the 'Avenues' near downtown SLC. It is literally poised at the very top of the hill and has a view that overlooks the entire city and the University of Utah Stadium as well. We will keep you updated on weather or not we get it and be sure to post some pictures.
